You will play a key role in scaling our team by managing recruiting processes from end to end, optimizing candidate experience, and developing proactive strategies for sourcing and employer branding.

How you'll contribute

Specifically you will…

  • Applicant Management & Recruiting Processes

    • Manage early-stage recruiting operations, from job posting to interview coordination

    • Conduct pre-selection of applications and lead first-stage interviews

    • Ensure a structured, seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey

    • Define and track recruiting KPIs to evaluate process efficiency and improve hiring strategies

  • Talent Pool Development

    • Build and manage a systematized talent pool for future recruitment needs

    • Maintain ongoing communication with promising candidates for future opportunities

  • Active Sourcing

    • Proactively identify and approach high-potential candidates via LinkedIn, XING and other professional networks

    • Develop creative sourcing strategies and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent

  • Employer Branding & Personnel Marketing

    • Craft compelling job advertisements and career page content tailored to various target groups

    • Support the development of our employer brand across relevant channels, events and campaigns

Your first 12 months in the role: expectations and deliverables

Months 0-3

  • Gain a basic understanding of our technology, mission, and team culture

  • Integrate into current recruiting structures and assist with interview processes

  • Support in the pre-selection of applications for select roles

  • Develop templates for frequently used candidate communications and a foundational KPI framework

Months 3-6
  • Independently manage early-stage recruiting processes

  • Create job advertisements and update career pages

  • Initiate active sourcing and candidate outreach via relevant platforms

  • Begin building a structured and searchable talent pool

Months 6-12

  • Fully implement and manage a systematized talent pool

  • Develop targeted candidate communication strategies, including content, channels, and event participation

About you
  • Background or initial experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related HR function

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a structured and service-oriented working style

  • Comfortable managing tasks independently and taking ownership of recruiting processes from start to finish

  • Confident in using digital tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, XING, ATS platforms) and quick to familiarize with new systems

  • Analytical mindset with an interest in using KPIs to improve processes and candidate engagement

  • Creative eye for crafting candidate communication and employer branding content tailored to different audiences

  • Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment with flat hierarchies and a clear mission

  • Fluency in English is required; German proficiency is a strong plus

This role cannot be done fully remotely.We require someone who lives within commuting distance to Essen.
