Are you ready to save the planet?

The clock is ticking. What are you waiting for?

How you'll contribute

Join us as Plant / Supply Chain Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of green energy.

At Greenlyte, we're on a mission to revolutionize the green energy industry with our innovative CO2 absorption and electrochemical desorption technologies. As part of our growing team, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success, working directly with our founders (Niklas and Florian) and collaborating closely with our experts (Sebastian, Henry and Max) in design, manufacturing, techno-economical analysis, and more.

Your primary focus will lie on optimizing our plant's overall cost structure and performance, ensuring that we not only possess cutting-edge technology but also the best-in-class pumps, compressors, centrifuges, conveyor belts, pipes, fittings, and containers. You'll have the autonomy to define your approach and make strategic decisions, with your success will be measured by tangible results.

Working at Greenlyte means being part of a collaborative and supportive environment where you'll have access to a vast network of partners eager to work with us. You won't be wasting time knocking on closed doors; instead, you'll be actively involved in shaping the future of green energy, with your contributions directly impacting the company's growth and success.

Your first 12 months in the role: expectations and deliverables.

Months 0-3:

  • Update our PFDs and PIDs of pilot plants, research plants and commercial plant projects

  • Update component- / part- list to budget plants and feed Techno Economical Analysis

  • Research plant components and suppliers for current needs

Months 3-6:

  • Build strategic relationships with component providers to allow us to increase the speed at wich we operate

  • Research and validate approval processes for plants in operation regions (together with partners)

  • Manage sourcing projects for strategic components & take full budget ownership

Months 6-12:

  • Be the go-to-person in our organization for the overall plant development (outside of core technology)

  • Manage plant development projects across research and commercial projects

About you
  • You have a relentless “getting things done” mentality. You are not an expert in centrifuges? No problem… you will read, talk to people, receive quotes, model alternatives until you are. We need to get the job done. Often we do not look for the 100% solution but for a quick turnaround of a 60-80% solution.

  • You have a talent for organizing information: You know how to translate requirements into inquiries, excel models, and PFD charts to inform the rest of the team.

  • You are quick on your feet. Florian, our CEO, needs a rough estimate on what a plant would cost in a certain scale/for certain conditions → you will provide him with a calculation and limiting conditions of your estimations.

  • You have fun and excel at pitching our mission to partners, component providers so that they want to become part of our scaling journey.

What we offer
  • 30 days vacation plus public holidays.

  • Monthly company lunches with the team.

  • Hands-on mentoring from supervisors.

  • Open and transparent communication on company development with the opportunity to influence.
